Job summary

Sage Hospitality Group is seeking an Engineering and Facilities Manager in Boulder to develop and manage emergency programs, budgets, and long-term maintenance strategies for hotel operation. You will oversee engineering staff, coordinate with contractors, and ensure compliance with codes to protect guests and assets.

The role requires 4–5 years in a related position, post-secondary education, and strong knowledge of building management and HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety systems.

Qualifications

• More than two years of post high school education.
• Experience: four to five years in a related role with this company or others.
• Advanced knowledge of building management/engineering.
• Knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, electrical systems, boilers, and related maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise HR within the division: hire, train, develop, coach, resolve problems, and conduct performance reviews.
• Develop and manage the department budget, capital expenditures, and forecasts.
• Plan and supervise maintenance programs and negotiate contracts to ensure safety and asset protection.
• Develop, implement, and direct all Emergency Programs; conduct inspections, drills, and records. Train employees.
• Lead energy conservation programs to minimize expenses.
• Coordinate renovation bidding, define cost/scope, and oversee contractors for quality work.
