Job summary

The Elizabeth Hotel and Emporium, a Sage Hospitality Group property in Fort Collins, seeks a Lead Maintenance Engineer to supervise and advance the hotel’s engineering operations. The role requires hands-on leadership across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry tasks, with a focus on safety and reliability.

You will oversee the maintenance team, respond to guest service requests, and ensure all equipment remains safe, efficient, and well-documented.

Qualifications

• Must have at least four years of experience in mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry or building maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, refrigeration, air conditioning, electrical systems, boilers, and related facilities equipment.
• Proven ability to manage maintenance tasks safely and respond to guest needs promptly.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance operations in absence of Chief Engineer.
• Supervise maintenance team and assign work orders.
• Perform preventive maintenance on hotel systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boiler).
• Respond to guest requests and emergencies with safety and courtesy.
• Maintain records of maintenance work and equipment readings.
