Job summary

ValorHospitality in Colorado is seeking a seasoned Maintenance Engineering Supervisor to oversee preventive maintenance, life safety systems, and cost-controlled operations across properties. You will lead a team, coordinate with contractors, monitor budgets, and ensure 100% uptime of critical systems to protect guests and assets.

You will supervise a maintenance team, implement safety standards, and partner with property leadership to deliver reliable facilities and exceptional guest

Qualifications

• One to two years of post-high school education; one or two-year certificate program in building maintenance, technology or related field.
• Minimum of five years of building maintenance experience in a leadership role or a related management position.
• Ability to perform critical analysis and manage a wide-range of information. Has natural instincts and insight for finding the best solution to unclear situations, issues and problems.
• Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, and coordination of people and resources.
• Communicate information and hotel services to management, staff and guests.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR objectives: recruiting, training, scheduling, coaching, and performance reviews for the maintenance team.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs in line with standards to ensure safety and guest satisfaction.
• Coordinate with contractors for outside repairs and monitor service requests for safety and efficiency.
• Manage departmental budget and capital expenditures within approved limits.
• Perform Manager-on-Duty functions as assigned.
