Job summary

Stonebridge Companies seeks a Chief Engineer in Denver, CO to oversee hotel maintenance operations and ensure all systems run efficiently. You will manage maintenance staff and contractors, maintain safety compliance, and coordinate with other departments to support smooth hotel operations.

Responsibilities include budgeting, inventory control, and developing preventive maintenance programs for guest rooms and public spaces.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in hotel engineering or maintenance management.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration, heating, plumbing, water treatment, and energy controls.
• Proven ability to manage maintenance staff and contractors, including hiring and training.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional and courteous guest service at all times.
• Supervise maintenance operations including refrigeration, heating, plumbing, water treatment, and A/C units.
• Monitor and manage energy consumption for efficiency.
• Oversee contracted services to meet hotel standards and guest expectations.
• Supervise maintenance staff, including hiring, training, evaluations, and scheduling.
• Ensure timely completion of maintenance projects according to specifications.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and Security on operations and safety procedures.
