Job summary

SPIRE Hospitality in Healdsburg, CA seeks an Engineering Supervisor to lead the engineering team and ensure smooth hotel operations. You will oversee preventive maintenance of rooms, pools, and equipment, while coordinating with vendors and other departments to deliver excellent guest experiences.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or trade certification and hotel maintenance experience; HVAC/plumbing skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; trade school or technician certification a plus.
• Experience in hotel or customer service environment preferred; HVAC/plumbing experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example as a supervisor, assisting guests and troubleshooting concerns.
• Create and manage the Engineering department weekly schedule.
• Manage vendor relationships for on-property contracted work.
• Proficient with Outlook, Word and Excel for daily operations.
• Maintain preventative maintenance for guest rooms, pools, and equipment.
• Support department head and mentor the engineering team.
• Foster collaboration across departments and ensure safety compliance.
• Perform general repair and maintenance to keep systems in top condition.
