Job summary

Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel and Spa on Del Monte Golf Course in Monterey, CA is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the hotel's engineering team and uphold service standards. You will mentor staff, manage PMs and work orders, and collaborate with Housekeeping and Front Desk to align operations and guest satisfaction.

Must have HVAC experience (3–5 years) and 2–3 years of supervisory responsibility, plus strong communication and computer skills.

Qualifications

• HVAC system experience 3–5 years.
• 2–3 years of supervisory/management experience.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and life-safety systems.
• Open availability (weekends/holidays) and strong communication.
• Basic computer and administrative skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on daily assignments, PMs, and work orders to ensure quality.
• Learn and use HotSos to track and assign work orders.
• Collaborate with Housekeeping and Front Desk to align operations.
• Engage with guests for follow-ups to ensure service excellence.
• Other duties as assigned.
