Job summary
Hyatt House Paso Robles is seeking an Engineering Supervisor to lead maintenance and technical operations in our California hotel. The role focuses on reliability, safety, and guest-focused service.
You will oversee refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, energy usage, and preventative maintenance programs, working closely with the Chief Engineer to ensure on-time project delivery and adherence to standards.
Qualifications
- Experience supervising engineering/maintenance teams.
- Knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing and electrical systems.
- Familiarity with lockout-tagout OSHA procedures.
- Ability to monitor energy consumption and budgets.
- Excellent service and safety mindset.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional, courteous service at all times.
- Maintain refrigeration, heating, plumbing, and other systems.
- Monitor electricity, gas and water usage.
- Ensure projects meet specs and deadlines.
- Follow OSHA lockout-tagout procedures.
- Perform guestroom and public area preventive maintenance.
- Log maintenance checks and inventories.
- Report safety concerns to supervisor immediately.
- Attend monthly staff meetings.
- Complete projects assigned by the Chief Engineer.
