Job summary

The Westin Rancho Mirage Golf Resort & Spa in Rancho Mirage, CA, is seeking an Engineering Supervisor to oversee daily operations of our engineering team and ensure facilities are safe, efficient, and well-maintained.

Lead engineering associates, coordinate maintenance for HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems, and uphold Marriott brand standards while delivering an excellent guest and associate experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of engineering, maintenance, or facilities experience in hospitality or related field.
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues effectively.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily engineering operations, including preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Lead, coach, and support engineering associates to ensure high performance and accountability.
• Ensure all building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) are properly maintained.
• Respond to and resolve guest and operational maintenance requests in a timely manner.
• Conduct routine inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
• Support scheduling and assignment of work orders based on business needs.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards, OSHA regulations, and company policies.
• Monitor and maintain tools, equipment, and inventory of supplies.
• Assist in maintaining accurate maintenance logs and documentation.
• Collaborate with other departments to support seamless hotel operations.
• Adhere to and uphold company attendance and punctuality standards, ensuring reliability and consistent coverage to support operational needs.
