Job summary

HOTEL PASEO in Palm Desert seeks an Engineering Supervisor to lead the engineering team, oversee building operations including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety systems, and ensure seamless hotel functioning. The role requires supervising daily activities, coordinating projects, and maintaining high standards of service and safety.

Candidate should have supervisory experience, strong technical expertise in building systems, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints/schematics and safety procedures.
• Strong technical expertise in operation, maintenance, and repair of building systems.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all building operations including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, aquatic facilities, and preventive maintenance.
• Direct and inspect the engineers/maintenance team daily for productivity and quality.
• Coordinate and roll out projects as directed while meeting deadlines.
• Interact with guests, contractors, and vendors as needed.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards and service expectations.
• Perform day-to-day and preventive maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Conduct walk-through inspections of public areas and back-of-house spaces.
