Job summary

The Director of Engineering at OTH Hotels Resorts in Los Angeles leads and manages all engineering and maintenance operations to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant hotel facilities. This role directs preventive maintenance, capital projects, and day-to-day engineering functions while supporting guest experiences through a well-maintained property.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
• 5–10+ years of maintenance/engineering leadership experience.
• Hospitality or similar environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage engineering and maintenance teams.
• Oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems.
• Manage preventive maintenance and capital projects.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance across the property.
• Coordinate with front office and other departments to minimize disruption.
