HEI Hotels & Resorts manages the Freehand Los Angeles property, overseeing preventive maintenance and repairs of mechanical/electrical systems. You will supervise the engineering team, ensure life safety compliance, and lead capital projects while maintaining budget controls.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on engineering experience at a comparable location.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
• Proven leadership and excellent communication skills.
• ADA-related physical demands and ability to work in varied conditions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise preventive maintenance and repairs of hotel mechanical/electrical systems and equipment.
• Manage life safety systems, utilities and capital projects in line with standards.
• Maintain records for RandM Budget, PM Programs and Inspections.
• Inspire and supervise engineering staff; assign tasks and monitor productivity.
• Ensure compliance with codes, brand procedures and safety guidelines.
