Job summary

Concord Hospitality seeks a Chief Engineer to lead our property engineering team and ensure safe, reliable hotel infrastructure. You will manage maintenance, compliance, budgeting, and staff development in a fast-paced setting.

Applicants will have proven leadership in hotel engineering, strong HVAC and life-safety knowledge, and the ability to train and motivate a team. This on-site role offers growth and opportunities across our growing portfolio.

Qualifications

• Experience leading hotel engineering or maintenance teams.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, life safety, and HVAC operations.
• Proven ability to train and develop maintenance staff in hospitality.
• Effective communication with management and ownership.
• Familiarity with safety standards (OSHA and codes).
• Ability to manage emergencies and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Direct repairs and routine maintenance of hotel systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical).
• Oversee inventory, budgeting, safety compliance, and inspections.
• Ensure safety standards for guests and a secure work environment for staff.
• Hire, train, motivate, and evaluate engineering staff; drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain Concord Hospitality standards and protocols.
• Communicate property conditions and needs to General Manager and leadership.
