The Westin Indianapolis International Airport Hotel is seeking a Director of Engineering to oversee the overall maintenance and safety of the property. You will lead daily operations, long-term preventative maintenance, and capital planning while ensuring compliance with regulations and safety protocols.

Responsibilities include managing the physical plant, coaching the engineering team, controlling costs, and partnering with leadership to improve guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role in a full-service hospitality operation.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, life safety systems, and preventative maintenance plans.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Responsabilités

• Manage the physical plant including equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, water treatments, and electrical systems.
• Develop an engineering operating strategy aligned with the company business strategy.
• Coach and support Engineering team to manage preventative maintenance, daily room calls, and controllable expenses.
• Work with leadership to increase Guest Satisfaction scores and address areas of concern.
• Operate within budgeted operating costs and execute capital expenditures.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and maintain life safety systems.
• Participate in budgeting, P&L reviews, and departmental meetings.
