Job summary

The Westin Indianapolis, a premier downtown hotel, is seeking a diligent Preventive Maintenance Engineer to help ensure the safety, reliability, and comfort of our facilities. You will perform preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, while coordinating with hotel departments to minimize guest disruption and maximize service quality.

Ideal candidates bring strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing, plus a track record of proactive maintenance and safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in a relevant field is a plus.
• Proven experience in preventive maintenance or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular preventive maintenance tasks on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Inspect and maintain equipment, including HVAC systems, boilers, and generators.
• Identify and resolve maintenance issues in a timely and efficient manner.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify potential problems and address them proactively.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment inventory.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior maintenance team members.
