Job summary

Hilton Indianapolis Hotel & Suites is seeking an Assistant Director of Engineering to support the Director of Engineering in managing a complex property engineering program. You translate direction into executable programs and lead delegated workstreams, ensuring operational reliability and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

Experience managing hotel or large facility engineering programs.
Proven ability to prepare scopes, analyses and management reports.
Licenses or certifications relevant to delegated property responsibilities.
Experience leading teams and coordinating contractors.

Responsibilities

Assist Director with day-to-day engineering operations and priorities.
Lead managers and technical leaders; coordinate staffing and workloads.
Govern maintenance programs; ensure PM/CMMS quality and backlog management.
Oversee fire/life-safety, permits, inspections and regulatory compliance.
Develop lifecycle reviews and capital planning documentation.
Coordinate capital projects and contractor performance.
