Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a hands-on Engineering Leader for the Hilton Philadelphia at Penn’s Landing. This role keeps a 350-room property safe, functional, and well-presented while operating within a lean staffing and budget model.

You will manage daily maintenance, oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and water heaters, implement a structured preventive maintenance program, and coordinate with front office and housekeeping to enhance the guest experience.

Qualifications

• Hands-on leader with responsibility for safe, functional, and well-presented property.
• Knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations.
• Experience in facilities/engineering in hospitality preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee daily maintenance and repairs across guest rooms and public areas.
• Maintain and troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, plumbing, water heaters and lighting.
• Execute a structured preventative maintenance program.
• Prioritize repairs that directly impact guest satisfaction and QA scores.
• Ensure compliance with fire and life safety systems.
• Coordinate specialized vendors as needed and monitor contractor work to ensure safety, quality and cost expectations.
