This role balances technical expertise in HVAC, electrical, plumbing and life-safety systems with proactive maintenance and guest-focused service, collaborating with front office and housekeeping to protect the asset and enhance the guest experience.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining hotel engineering systems and equipment.
• Knowledge of fire and life safety systems.
• Ability to manage call coverage for evenings, weekends and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee daily maintenance and repairs across guest rooms and public areas.
• Maintain and troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, plumbing, water heaters and lighting.
• Execute a structured preventative maintenance program.
• Coordinate specialized vendors and monitor contractor work.
• Respond quickly to guest maintenance issues with a service-first mindset.
• Ensure safety and life-safety compliance.
