Goodwin Recruiting is seeking an experienced Hotel Director of Operations in Montgomery, AL to oversee Rooms and support F&B operations at our upscale boutique hotel. This executive role leads department heads, drives profitability, and elevates guest satisfaction on the floor rather than behind a desk.

The ideal candidate is highly operational, financially astute, and able to coach leaders while maintaining visibility on property operations. Nights, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive hotel leadership overseeing Rooms and F&B operations.
• Strong financial acumen with ability to manage budgets and labor controls.
• High operational knowledge across Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, and Restaurant operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all day-to-day Rooms operations.
• Maintain the ability to step into any operational role when needed.
• Partner with Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, and F&B leadership to ensure seamless operations.
• Ensure guests are consistently satisfied with service, cleanliness, food, and beverage execution.
• Coach leaders and teams in effective service recovery and hospitality standards.
• Interview, hire, train, coach, and discipline supervisors and team members.
• Review daily revenue reports and financial recaps for hotel and outlets, ensuring forecasting accuracy and alignment with budget goals.
