Job summary

Daxton Hotel in Birmingham, MI, seeks a seasoned Director of Luxury Hotel Operations to lead strategy and daily management across departments, uphold brand excellence, and drive guest satisfaction and profitability.

You will recruit and develop a high-performing team, oversee budgeting and forecasting, partner with sales and marketing to attract high-end clientele, and implement innovative solutions to elevate service levels.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience in luxury hotel operations.
  • Deep understanding of luxury hospitality standards and guest expectations.
  • Strong leadership, strategic, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in hotel financial analysis and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership to all operational departments (guest services, housekeeping, F&B, front desk, facilities).
  • Set and uphold the highest luxury standards reflecting brand excellence.
  • Develop and implement operational plans to optimize efficiency and maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Recruit, train, and empower a high-performing team; foster collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cost management to meet profitability targets.
  • Maintain impeccable standards of cleanliness, maintenance, safety, and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing to drive revenue growth and attract high-end clientele.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and implement innovative solutions to enhance guest experiences.

Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned and results-driven Director of Luxury Hotel Operations to oversee the strategic and day-to-day management of our prestigious hotel. As a key member of our executive team, you will be responsible for upholding our brand's reputation for unparalleled luxury, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and driving operational excellence across all departments.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to all operational departments, including guest services, housekeeping, food and beverage, front desk, and facilities management.
  • Set and uphold the highest standards of luxury hospitality, ensuring that every aspect of the guest experience reflects our commitment to excellence, personalization, and attention to detail.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive operational plans and initiatives to optimize efficiency, elevate service standards, and maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Recruit, train, and empower a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost management, to achieve profitability targets and enhance the hotel's financial health.

  • Lead by example, demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to excellence in all aspects of hotel operations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in luxury hotel operations, with a proven track record of success in a similar role.
