Job summary

Hospitality Ventures Management Group (HVMG) is hiring a Cook in Birmingham, AL. You will prepare high-quality meals following standardized recipes, working closely with the culinary team to ensure safe, timely and delicious service for guests.

Candidates should have a combination of education and experience; hotel experience is a plus. The role requires flexible scheduling including early mornings, nights and weekends, and a warm, professional demeanor reflecting HVMG’s Culture of Excellence.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the United States.
• A combination of education and experience in food service.
• Ability to read product labels and communicate with guests.
• Availability for a flexible schedule, including mornings, nights and weekends.
• Ability to sit/stand, bend, kneel, and lift as required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare delicious and fresh meals behind our hotel's dining experiences.
• Follow recipes, ensure food safety and quality standards, keep kitchen clean and organized.
• Report to the Sous Chef or Kitchen Manager.
• Provide career growth opportunities through the hospitality path.
