The Kelly Birmingham, part of the Hilton Tapestry Collection, is seeking a cook to support our Food & Beverage – Culinary team. You will prepare dishes per recipes, manage portions, and help create memorable dining experiences for guests in downtown Birmingham.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of hotel or similar-cook experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a Managers Food Handlers Certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Culinary or Apprenticeship Program preferred.
• Managers Food Handlers Certification required.

Responsabilités

• Crafts dishes according to standard recipes or guest specifications.
• Ensures meticulous product storage and precise portion control for each dish.
• Minimizes spoilage and waste through effective product rotation.
• Monitors food, produce, and cooking supply levels to facilitate timely reordering.
• Maintains impeccable cleanliness and functionality of refrigeration, storage, and work areas.
