Job summary

NANA Regional Corporation, Inc. is hiring a Food Service Worker to join the team at Land’s End Resort in Homer, AK. Responsibilities include food prep, serving guests, and maintaining a clean, well-stocked dining area.

The position requires English proficiency, 6 months of cashier and food handling experience, and a High School Diploma or GED. This is an on-site role with daytime and evening shifts in a hotel kitchen setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Municipality of Anchorage Food Handler’s Card or ServSafe Certification contingent upon 30 days of hire.
• Six (6) months of training or experience with professional food handling or food preparation responsibilities.
• Six (6) months of cashier experience.
• Contract requires employees to speak, understand, read, and write English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve hot and cold food in a friendly manner.
• Provide friendly and courteous service to customers.
• Assist customers with information and inquiries.
• Operate POS to record price and display costs.
• Maintain a clean and stocked retail area at all times.
• Wash and sanitize food service areas and equipment.
• Keep dining area clean and tables tidy.
• Follow department dress code and personal appearance standards.
• Stock condiments and service ware.
• Assist with large cleaning projects as needed.
• No supervisory responsibilities.
