Job summary

HEI Hotels and Resorts is seeking a friendly, customer-focused team member to assist the Outlet Manager at Residence Inn Birmingham Downtown at UAB. You will help maintain a welcoming dining environment, ensure proper table settings, and deliver stellar guest service.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the appropriate table settings and service ware.
• Ability to grasp, lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs with or without accommodations.
• Ability to move or push goods up to 150 lbs with or without accommodations.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt communication style for different audiences.

Responsibilities

• Clear dirty table settings and prepare tables for resetting.
• Reset service ware promptly and consistently.
• Maintain stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods.
• Assist guests with breakfast experience and replenish as necessary.
• Transport dirty tableware to dishwashing area for proper cleaning.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work regularly.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
