Job summary

Residence Inn Birmingham Downtown at UAB is seeking a Breakfast Server to assist the Outlet Manager and deliver friendly, attentive service in the dining area. You will quickly clear tables, reset service ware, maintain clean stations, and ensure guests have a welcoming breakfast experience.

The role requires you to lift up to 50 lbs, push a cart up to 150 lbs, and communicate effectively with guests and team.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the appropriate table settings and service ware.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Ability to move/push a cart weighing up to 150 lbs with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Adapt communication style to suit different audiences.

Responsibilities

• Quickly clear dirty table settings and prepare table for resetting.
• Promptly reset all service ware and maintain cleanliness of stations.
• Take care of guests with breakfast experience and replenish as necessary.
• Transport dirty tableware to dishwashing area for proper cleaning.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
• Perform other job related duties as assigned.
