Job summary

Embassy Suites by Hilton Dulles Airport in Herndon, VA, seeks a professional bartender to join Marty’s Bar & Grille in the atrium. You will prepare beverages, greet guests, and deliver exceptional service seven days a week.

The ideal candidate has bartending experience, English proficiency, and a customer-first attitude, with the ability to follow brand standards and health regulations in a fast-paced hotel setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.
• TIPS or CARE beverage service certification desired, or the ability to obtain certification is required.
• Must have one or more years of previous bartending experience or Bartender certification.
• Must have exemplary customer service, attention to detail, and ability to perform in a repetitious and fast paced environment.
• Must be able to speak, understand, and write English to meet guest needs and complete required paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests courteously and takes/beverages orders accurately and quickly.
• Dispenses alcohol and prepares drinks to brand standards; manages equipment and cost controls.
• Maintains bar cleanliness and restocks; ensures compliance with liquor laws.
• Completes shift inventory and required paperwork in a timely manner.
• Follows safety, sanitation, and emergency procedures; works as part of the team to enhance guest experience.
