Job summary

Embassy Suites by Hilton Dulles Airport in Herndon, VA is seeking a Restaurant/F&B Supervisor to lead Marty's Bar & Grille and ensure guest satisfaction. You will supervise staff, maintain health and safety standards, and drive revenue in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, and TIPS or CARE certification (or ability to obtain). Prior guest relations experience and strong verbal communication are essential for success in this position at our all-suite hotel

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED required.
• TIPS or CARE beverage service certification or ability to obtain certification.
• 12 months in a position requiring skills/abilities similar or equal to Restaurant/Food and Beverage Supervisor.
• Prior experience in guest relations.
• Excellent verbal communication skills; attention to detail; able to perform in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Guest Service: supervise the Food and Beverage team, ensure service standards and respond to guest needs in a timely manner; trained staff and model service excellence.
• Financial Expectations: maximize Food and Beverage revenues; up-selling; handle cash and financial transactions per SOP; manage costs and reduce waste.
• Safety/Risk Management: maintain a clean, safe work area; comply with regulations; follow incident procedures and know emergency procedures.
• Self/Workload Management: plan, organize, prioritize duties; communicate clearly; attend department/hotel meetings; follow SOP.
