Job summary

Embassy Suites by Hilton Dulles Airport in Herndon, VA seeks an experienced bartender for Marty’s Bar & Grille. The role involves greeting guests, preparing drinks, serving with courtesy, and ensuring compliance with health and liquor laws. Must have bartending experience or certification and a reliable, customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• TIPS or CARE beverage service certification desired, or the ability to obtain certification is required.
• One or more years of previous bartending experience or Bartender certification.
• Demonstrated exemplary customer service, attention to detail, and ability to perform duties in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to speak, understand, and write English to meet guest needs and complete required paperwork.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests and takes beverage orders accurately and delivers them per standards.
• Dispenses alcohol and prepares drinks according to recipes and brand standards.
• Maintains bar cleanliness, stocks barware, and assists with trash and dish areas.
• Completes paperwork and performs shift inventory and closing procedures.
