Job summary

Embassy Suites by Hilton Dulles Airport in Herndon, VA, is seeking a bartender to provide friendly beverage service in Marty's Bar & Grille, in a six-story atrium. You will prepare drinks to standard recipes, monitor guest intoxication, and uphold health and brand standards in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 1+ year of bartending experience, English proficiency, and a clean work record. Benefits include health coverage and a strong team culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.
• TIPS or CARE beverage service certification desired, or the ability to obtain certification is required.
• Must have one or more years of previous bartending experience or Bartender certification.
• Must have demonstrated exemplary customer service, attention to detail, and ability to perform job duties in a repetitious and fast paced environment.
• Must have the ability to speak, understand, and write English in order to meet guest’s needs and complete required paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests in a courteous and friendly manner and takes beverage orders.
• Dispenses alcohol and ensures compliance with state and local liquor laws.
• Maintains bar cleanliness and proper stock levels.
• Completes shift inventory and required paperwork.
• Adheres to cash handling and POS procedures.
• Works as part of the team to ensure guest satisfaction.
