Job summary

HRI Hospitality in Indianapolis seeks an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger. You will supervise accounting staff, ensure accurate monthly statements, and support month-end close and audits with strong adherence to GAAP.

The role requires 5+ years in accounting with supervisory experience; hotel or hospitality exposure is preferred, along with proficiency in Aptech PVNG and OnQ PMS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA or CMA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations including AP, AR, and GL.
• Supervise and review work of accounting staff.
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements and reconciliations.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Analyze financial data, identify variances, and propose actions.
• Assist with annual budget and forecasting.
• Coordinate audits and ensure internal controls compliance.
• Collaborate with leadership to support financial goals.
