Job summary

HRI Properties is seeking an Accounting Manager in Indianapolis to oversee daily accounting operations, supervise staff, and ensure accurate financial reporting. You will prepare statements, assist with month-end/ year-end closes, and coordinate audits in a dynamic hospitality environment.

The role requires a bachelor’s in accounting/finance with 5+ years of progressive accounting experience; CPA/CMA is preferred. Experience with hotel finance systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• CPA or CMA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations including AP/AR and GL.
• Supervise accounting staff and ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes for assigned entities.
• Coordinate audits and ensure internal controls compliance.
• Collaborate with property and corporate leadership on financial goals.
• Assist with budgeting and periodic forecasting.
