Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to read and interpret written instructions.
  • Complete basic paperwork.
  • Perform accurate data entry.
  • Maintain 5S and tidy culture.
  • Machine controls and automation skills.
  • Proficiency in basic math.
  • Self motivated and detail oriented.
  • Computer literacy required.
  • Previous chemical handling experience.
  • Knowledge of operating manufacturing equipment is a plus.
  • Knowledge of adhesives and working knowledge of data management is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Operate coating lines to apply adhesives to hook and loop tapes, with emphasis on producing a quality product.
  • Load and doff rolls from production equipment; load adhesive drums into pump stand and move material between processes.
  • Enter production WIP moves into the computer and record data.
  • Inspect the facility and equipment and report incidents.
  • Be cross-trained in other functions and willing to work overtime or weekends.
