Velcro USA Inc. in Somersworth, NH is seeking a Loom Mechanic for the third shift to inspect, diagnose, and repair looms while following SOPs to keep production lines running at target quality.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and timely responses to equipment issues on a fast-paced manufacturing floor. This hands-on position requires mechanical aptitude, ability to read manuals and schematics, and readiness for LOTO and forklift certifications.

Qualifications

• Must have mechanical aptitude, including troubleshooting.
• Experience with service and repair of complex production machinery and equipment including electrical and mechanical components a plus.
• Ability to be certified to complete lockout/tagout operations and to complete Hazardous Communications training.
• Ability to be certified to operate a powered industrial trucks.
• Ability to read and interpret dials, gauges, rulers, equipment service manuals, and general instructions.
• High school diploma/GED required.
• Previous textile manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic analysis, troubleshooting, repair, overhaul, and routine maintenance of equipment.
• Make minor adjustments to ensure product meets specifications.
• Restart equipment after shutdown and ensure proper operation.
• Adhere to safety protocols and promote a safety-first culture.
• Work overtime including extended shifts and weekends as needed.
