  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Math, or related field and 11 years’ experience or master’s degree and 9 years’ experience.
  • Minimum 9 years of experience in product development with an emphasis on engineering design and development.
  • Superior project management skills and experience; proven success in understanding project financials and determining product cost drivers.
  • Strong statistical analysis, Root Cause Analysis, Creative Problem Solving, and Critical Thinking skills.
  • Strong in DFMEA and Design of Experiments methods.
  • Ability to work well independently or collaboratively in teams.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams; ability to work and thrive in a team environment.
  • Superior time management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven success coaching and mentoring others.
  • MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally; 10% Travel.

Under the general direction of a functional manager, with moderate latitude for self-direction, operates in one or more areas of responsibility within a specific function.* Applies advanced engineering and scientific principles to determine and evaluate technical feasibility for challenging projects; Solves complex customer problems using a variety of technologies.* Serves as global project/technology leader; leads brainstorming meetings across the organization and gets buy-in from cross functional partners.* Acts as an individual contributor, core team or technical lead for a specific project.* Accountable for the completion of assigned deliverables in accordance with approved schedules.* Authors documentation and participates in activities in support of design control.* Independently plans, performs & prioritizes tasks that are complex in nature, in alignment with corporate goals.* Analyzes and interprets data, identifying trends and formulating the next steps, while effectively performing trade off analysis, if required by the function.* Leads, designs and/or develops one or more of the following: new test methods, specifications, technical apparatus, software and processes for complex components and functions.* Identifies product defects and recognizes outliers in results.
