Job summary

Powers Golden Corral is seeking a Cook to ensure the quality, quantity, tastiness, and freshness of Hot Choice Buffet items. You will focus on speed, cleanliness, organization, and meeting product specifications.

Responsibilities include preparing buffet items, grilling to standards, restocking, and assisting guests with carved options. The role requires standing/walking 3-4+ hours, lifting 20–50 lbs, and adherence to company policies and health rules.

Qualifications

• Experience in a buffet/restaurant environment.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization.
• Adherence to health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepares Hot Choice Buffet products according to Golden Corral recipes and procedures.
• Grills items to Golden Corral standards to ensure quality.
• Ensures fried products are fresh and hot.
• Restocks items at the Display Cooking Station when needed.
• Assists guests with carved meat options when Carver is unavailable.
• Maintains inventory using production guides and FIFO method.
• Performs opening/closing procedures and keeps equipment clean.
• Follows local health department laws.
