Golden Corral is seeking a Cook to ensure the quality, quantity, tastiness, and freshness of all Hot Choice Buffet products. The role emphasizes speed, cleanliness, organization, and adherence to product specifications.

You will prepare buffet items per Golden Corral recipes, grill to standards, and ensure fried items are hot and fresh. The job also involves FIFO inventory, guest assistance, and maintaining a safe, clean work environment.

Qualifications

• Standing and walking 3-4+ hours without a rest break.
• Regular, moderate-to-heavy lifting (20-50 lbs) required.
• Temperature extremes in work environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepares Hot Choice Buffet products according to Golden Corral recipes and procedures.
• Grills items to standard for quality.
• Ensures fried products are fresh and hot.
• Restocks items at the Display Cooking Station when needed.
• Assists guests with carved meat options when necessary.
• Maintains FIFO inventory and follows production guides.
• Maintains correct temperatures during cooking, holding, and serving.
• Conducts opening and closing administrative procedures.
• Keeps equipment clean and performs CSQ duties.
• Ensures cleanliness of hot cook area and smallwares.
• Follows health department guidelines and company policies.
