Job summary

Community Options, Inc. in Dallas, TX invites you to host a person with developmental or physical disabilities in your home. This independently contracted role offers a 24/7 family-like setting and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in someone’s life.

You’ll provide a safe home, build a genuine relationship, and support daily physical and emotional needs. Requirements include a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, prior Direct Support Professional experience, and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Previous Direct Support Professional experience required.
• Must complete trainings through Community Options.
• Must be open to supervisory visits in your home.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, comfortable home for an individual with disabilities.
• Establish a supportive, genuine relationship with the person you house and support.
• Offer daily care to meet physical and emotional needs.
• Coordinate with Community Options for trainings and supervision.

This independently contracted position will provide a 24/7 family-like setting for an individual.

We are looking for someone in theDallas, TX area!

We are seeking someone who is available to provide a safe and comfortable home, while ensuring the basic physical and emotional needs required for our individuals to live a high-quality life. You must have the ability to establish a comfortable, supportive, and genuine relationship with the individual you house and support.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Valid Driver's License
• Previous experience working as a Direct Support Professional is required
• Will need to successfully complete trainings through Community Options
• Must be open to supervisory visits in your home

Our Host Home Providers are contracted and reimbursed at a per-diem rate PLUS they receive monthly room and board from the individual they support – this income is tax exempt.
