Job summary

A national non-profit agency is seeking a Foster Care/Host Home Provider in the Denton, TX area. This role involves providing a safe, supportive home for individuals with developmental and/or physical disabilities. Candidates must have a High School Diploma/GED, a valid Driver's License, and prior experience as a Direct Support Professional. This independently contracted position offers a per-diem rate and monthly room and board, and is designed for those who want to make a positive impact in their community.

Qualifications

• Willingness to undergo trainings provided by Community Options.
• Must successfully complete trainings through Community Options.

This independently contracted position will provide a 24/7 family-like setting for an individual.

We are looking for someone in Denton, TX area.

We are seeking someone who is available to provide a safe and comfortable home, while ensuring the basic physical and emotional needs required for our individuals to live a high-quality life. You must have the ability to establish a comfortable, supportive, and genuine relationship with the individual you house and support.

REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma/GED
• Valid Driver's License
• Previous experience working as a Direct Support Professional is required
• Will need to successfully complete trainings through Community Options
• Must be open to supervisory visits in your home

Our Host Home Providers are contracted and reimbursed at a per-diem rate PLUS they receive monthly room and board from the individual they support – this income is tax exempt.
