Job summary

A national non-profit agency is looking for a Foster Care/Host Home Provider in Amarillo, TX. This independently contracted role involves providing a supportive home environment for individuals with disabilities. Responsibilities include ensuring their emotional and physical needs are met while establishing a nurturing relationship. Previous experience as a Direct Support Professional is a requirement. Compensation includes a tax-exempt per-diem rate plus monthly room and board.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License is required.
• Previous experience working as a Direct Support Professional is required.
• Must be open to supervisory visits in your home.

This is a chance to help make a difference by opening your home to an individual with developmental and/or physical disabilities. This independently contracted position will provide a 24/7 family-like setting for an individual.

We are looking for someone in the Amarillo, TX area!

We are seeking someone who is available to provide a safe and comfortable home, while ensuring the basic physical and emotional needs required for our individuals to live a high-quality life. You must have the ability to establish a comfortable, supportive, and genuine relationship with the individual you house and support.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• Valid Driver's License
• Previous experience working as a Direct Support Professional is required
• Will need to successfully complete trainings through Community Options
• Must be open to supervisory visits in your home

Compensation & Benefits

Our Host Home Providers are contracted and reimbursed at a per-diem rate PLUS they receive monthly room and board from the individual they support – this income is tax exempt.
