Job summary

Community Options, Inc. is seeking a Foster Care/Host Home Provider in the Denton, TX area. This independently contracted role offers a 24/7 family-like setting for a person with developmental or physical disabilities and requires opening your home to someone in need.

You must have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and prior Direct Support Professional experience. You will also complete required trainings and host-home supervisory visits.

• Previous experience working as a Direct Support Professional is required.
• Must be open to supervisory visits in your home.
• Must successfully complete trainings through Community Options.

Responsibilities

• Establish a supportive, genuine relationship with the person you house and support.
• Offer 24/7 family-like setting in an independently contracted arrangement.
• Participate in ongoing supervision and comply with program trainings.

We are looking for someone in the Denton, TX area!

We are seeking someone who is available to provide a safe and comfortable home, while ensuring the basic physical and emotional needs required for our individuals to live a high-quality life. You must have the ability to establish a comfortable, supportive, and genuine relationship with the individual you house and support.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma/GED


• Valid Driver's License


• Previous experience working as a Direct Support Professional is required


• Will need to successfully complete trainings through Community Options


• Must be open to supervisory visits in your home

Our Host Home Providers are contracted and reimbursed at a per-diem rate PLUS they receive monthly room and board from the individual they support – this income is tax exempt.
