Job summary

Community Options, Inc. is seeking Foster Care/Host Home Providers in the San Antonio, TX area to offer a safe, home-like setting for individuals with disabilities.

This independent contractor role pays a per-diem rate plus monthly room and board, tax-exempt, and requires a clean background and training completion. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and experience as a Direct Support Professional is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Direct Support Professional experience preferred.
• Must complete trainings through Community Options.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, comfortable home and meet basic physical and emotional needs of the individual.
• Establish a genuine, supportive relationship with the individual housed.

This independently contracted position will provide a 24/7 family‑like setting for an individual.

We are looking for someone in the San Antonio, TX area!

We are seeking someone who is available to provide a safe and comfortable home, while ensuring the basic physical and emotional needs required for our individuals to live a high-quality life. You must have the ability to establish a comfortable, supportive, and genuine relationship with the individual you house and support.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Valid Driver's License
• Previous experience working as a Direct Support Professional is required
• Will need to successfully complete trainings through Community Options
• Must be open to supervisory visits in your home

Our Host Home Providers are contracted and reimbursed at a per-diem rate PLUS they receive monthly room and board from the individual they support – this income is tax exempt.
