Job summary

A national non-profit agency is seeking a Foster Care / Host Home Provider to offer a supportive, family-like environment to individuals with disabilities in the Austin, TX area. The role requires establishing genuine relationships and ensuring the basic needs of the residents are met. Candidates must have a high school diploma and valid driver's license. This is a contracted role with tax-exempt income from room and board.

This independently contracted position will provide a 24/7 family-like setting for an individual. We are looking for someone in the Austin, TX area!

We are seeking someone who is available to provide a safe and comfortable home, while ensuring the basic physical and emotional needs required for our individuals to live a high-quality life. You must have the ability to establish a comfortable, supportive, and genuine relationship with the individual you house and support.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• Valid Driver's License
• Previous experience working as a Direct Support Professional is required

• Must be open to supervisory visits in your home

Note: Our Host Home Providers are contracted and reimbursed at a per-diem rate PLUS they receive monthly room and board from the individual they support – this income is tax exempt.
