Job summary

Airbnb is seeking a Market Manager to drive growth and retention of professional hosts across a defined territory. You will build strong partner relationships, optimize listings and pricing, and lead supply acquisition to secure long-term market success.

You will manage a book of business, analyze regional data, and collaborate with product, policy, and support teams. This role requires travel to markets in Washington or California and a passion for the Airbnb mission.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in new sales, account management, and partner support.
• 2+ years of tech/travel industry experience is a plus.
• Proven track record of managing leads and a book of business.
• Proficient quantitative skills and data-driven decision making.
• Ability to operate at strategic and tactical levels in ambiguous environments.
• Experience working cross-functionally with product, policy, and support teams.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with clients via phone, email, and in-person.
• Self-starter with strong time management and prioritization.
• CRM experience, Salesforce is a plus.
• Based in Washington or California and willing to travel quarterly.
• Passion for Airbnb and travel.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage partner relationships within assigned territory.
• Directly manage accounts to meet and exceed quarterly/annual sales goals.
• Analyze data and use data-driven recommendations to identify and act on strategic opportunities in your region to drive sales.
• Prospect and onboard new, high quality supply in your assigned geography.
• Maintain understanding of technical integration of software partners to provide the right support.
• Represent Airbnb in external meetings with Professional Hosts and at industry conferences.
• Educate clients on product changes and cascade feedback to internal stakeholders.
• Hold regular optimization calls and business reviews with partners.
• Develop strong and long-lasting partnerships.
• Develop deep knowledge of assigned markets and become the go-to source for local trends.
• Respond to clients with timely, exceptional service and travel to markets when needed.
• Work cross-functionally with product, communications, policy and customer support teams.
