Job summary

Airbnb is seeking a Market Associate / Account Manager to grow and retain long-tail host accounts in the assigned territory. You will optimise pricing, availability, and listing quality while building strong relationships with hosts to maximise revenue and platform success.

You will also support Market Managers with education programs and help hosts navigate product updates, policy changes, and feedback channels. A proactive, goal-driven approach is essential in this role.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in new sales, account management, or partner support.
• 2+ years of hospitality/travel industry experience (nice to have).
• Strong time management and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts effectively.
• Proven experience working a book of business, driving engagement and growth through proactive account management.
• Highly goal-driven, with a strong bias for action and persistence in the face of challenges.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively via phone, email, and in-person.
• Proficiency in CRM tools, particularly leading with leads and opportunities (Salesforce experience is a plus).

Responsibilities

• Manage a book of business consisting of host entrepreneurs and rising hosts, ensuring retention, growth, and optimisation on Airbnb.
• Conduct one-on-one optimisation and onboarding conversations, providing strategic recommendations on pricing, availability, and listing quality.
• Secure availability over high compression dates, ensuring hosts maximise revenue potential.
• Educate hosts on product updates and policy changes, while channeling their feedback to internal teams.
• Respond to host inquiries and provide timely, high-quality support to improve their experience on the platform.
• Analyse performance data to identify trends and take action on opportunities that drive increased bookings and host success.
• Develop long-lasting relationships with hosts, ensuring they receive ongoing support tailored to their needs.
