Job summary

Airbnb is seeking a Market Manager to grow and optimize host supply in California and surrounding regions. You will build relationships with professional hosts, manage key accounts, and use data to drive pricing and inventory decisions.

You will lead acquisition strategies, collaborate with product and policy teams, and travel quarterly to your market, ensuring aligned execution with company goals and local market dynamics.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in new sales, account management, and partner support.
• 2+ years of tech/travel industry experience is a plus.
• Proven track record of managing a leads pipeline and a book of business.
• Proven data-driven decision making in day-to-day work.
• Ability to operate at strategic and tactical levels in ambiguous environments.
• Cross-functional collaboration experience.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with clients.
• Self-starter with strong time management and prioritization.
• Willing to travel quarterly to assigned territory (Washington or California).
• Passion for Airbnb and travel; hosting experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage partner relationships within assigned territory.
• Directly manage accounts to meet and exceed quarterly/annual sales goals.
• Analyze data and provide data-driven recommendations to identify strategic opportunities to drive sales.
• Prospect and onboard new, high-quality supply in your geography.
• Maintain understanding of technical integration of software partners to support clients.
• Represent Airbnb in external meetings with Professional Hosts and at industry conferences.
• Educate clients on product changes and cascade feedback on product/policy to internal stakeholders (including Canadian regulations).
• Hold regular optimization calls and business reviews with partners.
• Develop strong, long-lasting partnerships.
• Develop deep knowledge of geographic markets for internal/external partners.
• Provide timely, in-person support and occasional travel.
• Work cross-functionally with product, communications, public policy, and support teams.
