Job summary

P.F. Chang's China Bistro, Inc. is seeking a Host/Hostess to deliver an exceptional hospitality experience by managing the flow of the restaurant and greeting guests with a positive, professional first impression.

In this role you will quote wait times when needed, answer questions, and support the team in seating guests while upholding safety and sanitation standards throughout the front-of-house area.

Qualifications

• Previous experience is not required – we will train you.
• Excellent customer service skills and etiquette.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team-work environment.

Responsibilities

• Interact courteously with Guests (answer phones, greet Guests, seat Guests, make reservations, take food orders).
• Uphold sanitation and safety standards at front door, host desk, lobby area and crowd control.
• Learn restaurant seating layout and how tables are divided into server areas for service.
• Set and clear a table neatly and efficiently according to P.F. Chang's specifications.
• Learn curbside process and takeout expectations.
• Conduct side-work as required for each shift.
