Job summary

801 Chophouse Kansas City is hiring a part-time, non-exempt (hourly) Host for our busy FOH team. You will work in a guest-centric, high-volume environment with top-tier food and drink.

Minimum 2 years of host experience in a fine dining setting is required. Availability 2–4 days, including evenings and weekends, with familiarity in OpenTable and other computer systems. Strong hospitality and teamwork are essential in this fast-paced role.

This is a part-time, non-exempt (hourly) front of the house (FOH) position working in a team-oriented, high-volume / fast-paced, guest-centric environment with the highest quality food & drink.

Requirements & Expectations:

• Minimum of 2 years host experience in a fast-paced, high-end / fine dining establishment.
• Must be available to work at least 2 days and up to 4 days, any day of the week, including evenings, weekends & some holidays. *Weekend Availability (Fri/Sat/Sun) Required*
• Knowledge of, and ability to work within, OpenTable and other computer systems.
• The ideal candidate is a high-energy, detail-oriented professional who enjoys interacting with the public while maintaining a strong sense of hospitality, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must have the ability to work effectively as part of a team, to multi-task, and to maintain focus/memory of information received.
• Ability to communicate clearly (in person or via telephone) while demonstrating warmth & professionalism to guests in a busy, fast-paced / high-stress environment.
• Ability to maintain regular, reliable and predictable attendance.
