The Role

The Host sets the tone for the guest experience by offering a warm welcome, managing the door with confidence, and helping service flow smoothly.

What You’ll Do
  • Welcome and thank every guest with attentive, genuine hospitality.
  • Manage reservations, waitlists, seating, phone calls, and guest notes accurately.
  • Communicate realistic wait times and keep guests informed as conditions change.
  • Coordinate seating with managers and service teams to support balanced pacing.
  • Maintain an organized, polished host stand and entry area.
  • Recognize special occasions, accessibility needs, and service-recovery opportunities.

Physical & Schedule Requirements
  • Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the restaurant shift.
  • Frequently bend, reach, carry, and move through active guest and service areas.
  • Regularly lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds with assistance when needed.
  • Work around food, beverages, cleaning products, noise, and changing temperatures.
  • Maintain availability for a varied schedule that may include early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
