This part-time, non-exempt role requires evenings, weekends, and holidays. Compensation starts at $16.90 per hour plus tips, with comprehensive benefits including health coverage and retirement plans.

Set within the luxury setting of Carneros Resort and Spa, FARM delivers warm hospitality, refined cuisine, and an inviting atmosphere for resort guests and local patrons alike.

Position Summary

We are seeking a gracious, polished, and service-orientedHostto be the first and last impression of our restaurant. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, upscale environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional hospitality with warmth and professionalism.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Warmly welcome guests upon arrival and provide a genuine, memorable first impression
• Manage reservations and walk-ins using reservation systems (e.g., OpenTable or similar platforms)
• Coordinate table assignments tooptimizeflow and ensure smooth service
• Communicate effectively with management, servers, and kitchen staffregardingguest needs and timing
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting hoststandand entry area
• Provideaccurateinformation about menus, specials, resort amenities, and local attractions
• Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and concerns with professionalism and care

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in a similar role within luxury hospitality.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
• Familiarity with property or outlet-specific needs (e.g., Boon Fly, FARM, Hilltop).
• Team player mentality and a commitment to maintaining the resort’s high standards.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to work aflexible schedulebased on event volume and business needs with ability to workevenings, weekendsandholidays.
• Ability tolift upto 25lbs
• Must be able tostand and walk for extended periodsand move between indoor and outdoor venues on the resort property
• Ability to navigate the resort’s expansive property as applicable.
