Ancho & Agave in Naperville, IL is seeking friendly Hosts to create a welcoming dining experience. This part-time role requires excellent customer service, clear communication, and a willingness to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, managing reservations, guiding seating, and assisting with general restaurant duties. Applicants should be punctual, team-oriented, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Ability to effectively communicate in English (verbal and written).
• Strong interpersonal skills and customer-facing experience.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced dining environment.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and holidays.
• High stamina to stand and move for extended periods.
• Capable of lifting up to 15 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and assist with reservations, guiding them to tables and providing accurate wait times.
• Present menus and answer questions to help guests start their dining experience.
• Assist with seating optimization to balance workload among staff.
• Answer phones, schedule reservations, and perform light side work and station setup.
• Maintain a clean and welcoming dining area throughout shifts.

Position Type: Part Time

Salary Range: $15.00 - $16.00 Hourly

Ancho & Agave is hiring Hosts to help us create the ultimate dining experience for our guests. If you love serving people and know how to "wow" with your customer service, we want you to be on our team!

Applicants must be friendly, hardworking, team oriented, punctual, honest, and comfortable with customer service. Must be available to work consistently, always have a positive attitude and be an excellent communicator.

Host Responsibilities

Host responsibilities include but are not limited to greeting customers, helping guests with reservations and guiding them to their tables, giving guests accurate wait time estimates, providing customers with menus and answering any initial questions they may have, optimizing seating at different tables to ensure even workload for wait staff, answering phones, scheduling reservations, side work, station set up, and light restaurant maintenance.
