Job summary

Zota Beach Resort is seeking Hosts/Hostesses to create a welcoming front-of-house experience in our upscale beachfront restaurant. You will manage reservations, seat guests with care, and orchestrate guest flow to ensure exceptional service and a polished arrival for every guest.

In this role you’ll collaborate with restaurant leadership and staff to maintain luxury standards, handle high-volume queues gracefully, and foster a warm, guest-focused environment that reflects the resort’s brand.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED is a plus but not required.
• Previous hospitality experience is a plus.
• Must have courteous phone skills and the ability to take accurate messages.
• The company conducts post-offer employment verifications, motor vehicle, and criminal background checks.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly and inviting manner.
• Take reservations using the restaurant reservation system.
• Seat guests promptly and engage in pleasant conversation.
• Manage restaurant waiting list during peak times and quote accurate wait times.
• Manage inventory of tables available.
• Thank guests as they depart and invite them to return.
• Coordinate with wait staff and supervisors regarding table availability.
• Communicate with supervisor any complaints or compliments.
• Adhere to the rules and regulations of the company as defined in the employee handbook.
• Always wear the uniform provided by company policy.

We are looking to add Hosts/Hostesses to our team.

The Host/Hostess serves as the first and last impression for guests dining at our upscale beachfront resort restaurant. This position is responsible for providing a warm, welcoming, and memorable arrival experience while managing reservations, seating arrangements, and guest flow to ensure exceptional service standards. The ideal candidate possesses a polished professional appearance, outstanding communication skills, and a genuine passion for hospitality.

Working closely with restaurant leadership and service staff, the Host/Hostess ensures efficient seating operations, accommodates guest requests whenever possible, and maintains a positive, guest-focused environment that reflects the luxury standards of the resort. This role requires the ability to remain composed in a fast-paced setting, anticipate guest needs, and deliver personalized service that enhances the overall dining experience.
